On December, 7th, started the sixth competition under account The Best of Blogs, organised by the media company "Deutsche Welle". Selection of candidates on competition will last till February, 14th of next year, and voting — from March, 15th till April, 14th 2010.

Re:publica names winners

Names of winners of competition will be announced on April, 15th in Berlin within the limits of conference "re:publica" (devoted to blogs and social networks) in the presence of jury. And delivery of prizes will take place in Bonn on June, 22nd.

Blogs can participate in competition Deutsche Welle on the best blog from all countries of the world in 11 languages: English, Arabian, Bengalese, Spanish, Chinese, German, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian or French. Offer the candidate on competition each interested person, including the author of a blog or the judge can.

Thematic restrictions for participation in competition does not exist, but at other equal dear judges will prefer those who publishes socially significant, social and vital topics.

Best of the best choose in following nominations: the best blog, the best podcast, the best video blog, the most unusual blog, the best blogs in the language categories. Besides, winners will be defined both jury, and by simple Internet users.
