my grandmother collected snowglobes, and i remember countless minutes (hours?) staring into these little orbs and watching the "snow" i'd just disturbed swirl and fall and then settle onto scenes that i could so easily immerse myself into. i've always had an affinity for miniatures in general and snow globes in particular, and these by walter martin and paloma munoz take those moments of fantasy so much further. the husband and wife artistic team sculpt and arrange wonderful scenes of "alienation, dread and dark humor." lovely.
