this is my dream home. no matter how many homes i look at and love (many!), i always come back to this one. (sigh). the farnsworth house, near plano, illinois, was designed by ludwig mies van der rohe in 1951 and is a national historic landmark. given a few upgrades in energy efficiency, it's just perfect. (sigh).
