i love how the elements of this sculpture, line up by rachel whiteread, look like chalk pieces. the colors are so soft, which is interesting considering rachel admits to a daily struggle to understand color and its place in her work. this piece is made of resin, plaster, wood, and metal ~ it and many other beautiful sculptures are presently on exhibit at gagosian gallery in los angeles.
