ellen bell has degrees in illustration, theater design and fine art. her recent works are inspired by the nature of language and "its limitations as a meaningful form of expression."


most of ellen's work involves book sculptures and collages of old found text. i also like this venetian blind that formed part of a recent installation, speaking soul, with the words "i didn't know how to say he was wrong, so i had to say sorry"...
