so mesmerized by this intaglio print, mystree II, by george raab ~ it mirrors the tone and mood of days here as of late, and i find it incredibly beautiful. raab creates his etchings by making textures and grooves below the surface of zinc plates, which are then hand inked, pulled on damp rag paper, and watercolored. this particular print, i believe, is an aquatint.
