dr. martin luther king, jr. believed this to be life's most persistent and nagging question: what are you doing for others? on the third monday in january, americans celebrate the life and the legacy of a true and pure visionary. at the very heart of his dream of equality, justice, dignity, humility, compassion, courage and truth for humanity was a call to service ~ this is how he wanted to be remembered. an exerpt from one of his last sermons (referring to the inevitable untimely end to his life): i'd like somebody to mention on that day martin luther king, jr. tried to give his life serving others...i want you to say on that day, that i did try in my life...to love and serve humanity.
happy martin luther king, jr. day. what will your random act of kindness/service be today?
