while researching for a paper artist this week, i discovered this amazing installation by architect junya ishigami. paper chair was shown at canon's "neoreal" exhibition at salon del mobile in milan last year. the chairs, which are actually constructed of metal, are designed to resemble a piece of paper, with delicate sketches of dandelions (printed by canon) which serve as a canvas, obscuring the boundaries between the chairs and surrounding space. so beautiful!
