brent comber is an art + design studio, located in vancouver, that creates remarkable sculpted objects, functional pieces, and design environments. the studio's vision is to reconnect people to the ancient material of solid wood in designing accessible, modern urban forms (i love that the story of each piece's inspiration and creation is told). and, sustainability is at the very heart of their philosophy ~ only local sources are used in these designs, typically from fallen trees or wood that has already been harvested. materials discarded in the studio's design process are always composted, too. just incredible craftsmanship, admirable philosophy, and beautiful work.
