interactive installation for okamura design space r by toyo ito + takram design engineering 280 handblown glass wind chimes hung from the ceiling, which respond to movement with gentle rings and light flickers. the chimes are networked together so that their response to movement ripples across the grid like a wave. the experience has been compared to feeling as though you are inside an interactive musical instrument. just amazing.
