really fresh idea in retail, located in manhattan. partners & spade combines aspects of both a gallery and a store, with a whole lotta wit. case in point: impulse items accessible only with a very tall ladder and "back-dated confidence trophies" to erase past missteps. the shop also houses a collection of collections of gallery owners, artists, designers and other creatives ~ the vintage staplers and globes are incredible.
