harmonographs by rick hall these are not computer generated, but rather made by a twin elliptical harmonograph (above)... although the images which this device generates are very complex, the concept is quite simple: two heavy weights are suspended on a single pendulum, and the paper which traces the movement is at the exact focal point between these two weights... the images are graphic illustrations of musical harmony.
