designing bags is her specialization and for her graduation collection, ilvy jacobs is referring to the bag as a packing function. from thinking about packing and packaging, ilvy started to investigate ways to create a longer duration through a form and/or material addition. the tactile aspects of the material and sustainability are very important in her work.
