these make me happy. lisa soloman is an artist fascinated with the fusing of apparently unrelated elements - showing the back side of embroidery as the front, sewing onto paper, military tanks made of bright pink felt, etc. she is especially keen on "things that read as nostalgic" and works to create new memories and new perspectives by re-framing and re-purposing found objects of interest.
